Blue Hole

The Blue Hole in Ocho Rios is a real natural and hidden gem of Jamaica, and it’s just a few miles away from Aquamarina Villa. Their opening hours are from 8 am to 5 pm.

The Blue Hole is a series of natural limestone sinkholes, with a few untouched and secluded waterfalls and some caverns within the mountains of Jamaica. The scenery is really stunning and everyone who visits the Blue Hole is amazed by its beauty and serenity.

You will be surrounded by lush greenery and exotic plants and flowers, and the deep blue clean water in front of you will make you just want to: jump in. After all, the place got its name for a reason!

The road to get there is not the easiest one: you will have to drive around 20 minutes and sometimes it gets a bit rough, but the destination is definitely worth it! It’s a true paradise and it’s not very commercialized yet, so you’ll just meet some tourists here and there passing through. Nothing like the Dunn’s River Falls’ crowd!

There are many activities available. You can hike through the jungle and reach the cascade falls. You can climb down the rocks and have a dip in the lagoon or have a Tarzan-like experience, grabbing on the rope and swinging in the water!

Otherwise, for the most adventurous ones you can jump in the water from several cliffs – all in complete safety, of course, guided by a well-trained member of staff. You can relax going into the caves and enjoying the amazing view. Plus, there is also a regenerating mud bath.

The surrounding jungle is the perfect scenery for this experience, directly in contact with Mother Nature.
